I tried casting this afternoon. It's strange that the color of resin changed...but I like this white more than snow one.^^

It started to rain after my pump came back...
But the weather report said the weather would be fine after Monday.
I checked the mold I mentioned on Dec.17.
Not too bad. ^^ I will try cast on Tuesday.
My friend gave me some chocolates on Saturday.XD

My vacuum pump came home today...
I will start to prepare big girls.
I didn't update a lot here...since I was used to write work diary at the end of a day, but now, it's too cold to sit before computer at night. @.@

Bad news!
My vacuum pump went wrong this morning. It didn't work suddently, although it worked well just several seconds before its down. The last 300g silicone I poured into the mold has many air bubbles...

Have a close look...Oh!NOOOO! It cost me about 1500g silicone. If only the pump worked one more minute or even 30 seconds, the mold would be done. Now, I hope these air bubbles in the last 300g silicone don't affect too much, otherwise I have to redo the mold. That wastes time and silicone...
I phoned the shop at once. They told me it might because something plug inside pump. They will take my pump away tomorrow and clean it in the factory later. My pump will come back next Monday or Tuesday...
Just have to say...not too bad...if they can repair it. The repair fee is not as high as I've thought.

The improvement work on legs is nearly finished. I'm going to spend 2 days to sand them smooth, then, I will start to make new molds and cast dolls.^^

I went to the exhibition with my friend on Tuesday. I took few photos since I think my aim is to remember them with my own eyes carefully.^^ And I've already seen beautiful photos taken by other visitors.

I wanted to release my girls yesterday, so I took some photos for selling pages. Unfortunately, it's cloudy...My camera doesn't perform well in cloudy days. The photos were not as good as I expected.(TvT) I think they are even worse than these unformal photos.
The closer to releasing time, the more unconfident I become. It seems there are endless prepare work to do. I want to be perfect or just close to perfect, but everything tells me that there is no perfect.
I've designed some outfits for my girls, but just like women always think they need one more dress, I find I always need new materials...
My mother said, 'you should do everything one by one.'

My nose is painful after wearing gas mask for a long time in the past 3 days. (-///-)
I have a good news. The problem of resin is solved, I think.^^
I asked the seller about the problem. He thought it's not usual that the resin went bad so fast. He
opened cans of resin in raining days, but there was no such big affect as I met. He mentioned he saw similar problem as my description when he mixed excessive part B.
I didn't add excessive part B, but I think maybe I can try to reduce part B a little.
In normal condition, the scale is 1:1. Therefore, I changed it to 1:0.955 yesterday. But it didn't work well either. Then, I gave up dying, try the pure resin. It seems it has some effects. I cast 3 girl with the residual white resin, because I didn't want the resin becomes worse. I was happy that I used out this set of resin and could have a rest from casting.
Then, a new problem rose. I need to cast tiny dolls in dark and tan skin color for someone as soon as possible. After a short struggle in this morning, I decided to open a new set of resin, since the weather report says it will be raining in the following days and today is the only fine day. I think it's better to cast these tiny dolls first, no matter if the resin goes bad later, than to let others wait more time for their ordered tinies.
However, I was shocked when I found new resin had the same problem as the last one. At that time, I nearly collapsed... but a few minutes later, I had to tidy up my broken heart, try to reduce scale of part B to 1:0.94. This time God bless me...It works.
Now I just need to use out this set of resin ( to cast 4 girls tomorrow) as soon as possible. ^^||||

I was casting all day, but got only miscasts... I will try again tomorrow, but I don't expect too much.

The last mold, Qiiro head cost more time than I've expected. This time, the silicone solidified too slowly, so about 1/5 silicone leaked... I had to add more silicone and wait it solidifies.

I started to make molds today.
An accident happened in the morning... The silicone solidified too fast, because it has been unsealed for several months. - -||| Poor Pei Yi was buried in silicone with many air bubbles. Well...I have to put her aside and wait silicone solidifed totally so that I can take her out.
Then, I turned to Hexad Lii head. I opened a new can of silicone. This mold is successful.

Why I call here 'garden'?
My friend and I were interested in flowers when we were in middle school. We bought many seeds from markets, but I got only mimosa at last...- - Because I hadn't a good place for flowers. I lived on 4th floor and there was only a public balcony, which was face to the north...
One day, when we passed by a small garden full with blooming flowers in the nearby college, I said to my friend, I hope I could own a small piece of land like that so that I can plant as many flowers as I can and they will certainly grow well.
It's a beautiful dream and an improssible dream. As I grow up, I know we can't own lands. Lands are 'pubilc'.
Thank God! I finally own a tiny space on Internet. When considering a name for my space, it reminded me the dream of a garden. >w<><

I'm feeling guilty that my plans are not achieved every time. (TvT)
It's already Oct. 19, but it seems I need more time to sand them. The sanding work is really very boring. I became impatient. I love sculpting, painting face up and making clothes for dolls, but I don't like sanding, making molds and casting.(>w<) However, another voice in my mind told me to keep calm, if I don't sand them smooth, I will certainly regret in the future, just as what I've done with Near.
...anyway, they're more and more close to be completed.
